Crawler Chassis Structure And Working Principle
The crawler chassis parts mainly includes the chain group(отслеживать ссылку & гусеничный башмак), track/bottom roller, idler, опорный каток, sprocket and the frame structure in the middle.
The track roller is used to support and disperse the mechanical weight on the track.
The несущий/верхний ролик is to maintain the linear movement of the chain rail.
The idler is used to guide the track to rotate correctly, prevent its deviation, track derailment and adjust track tightness.
The sprocket and segement is fixed on the traveling reducer to transmit the power of the traveling motor to the crawler.
Usually, the motor or diesel engine or hydraulic motor provides power, and the driving wheel rotates to drive the crawler movement and plays a supporting role.
When the crawlers on both sides move forward at the same time, the whole crawler chassis parts moves forward, the crawlers on both sides move backward at the same time, and the whole crawler chassis parts moves backward. When there is a speed difference between the two crawlers, the differential steering movement will be realized.
