Crawler Chassis Structure And Working Principle

The crawler chassis parts mainly includes the chain group(link da trilha & sapato de corrida), track/bottom roller, idler, rolo transportador, sprocket and the frame structure in the middle.

The track roller is used to support and disperse the mechanical weight on the track.

Usually, the motor or diesel engine or hydraulic motor provides power, and the driving wheel rotates to drive the crawler movement and plays a supporting role.

When the crawlers on both sides move forward at the same time, the whole crawler chassis parts moves forward, the crawlers on both sides move backward at the same time, and the whole crawler chassis parts moves backward. When there is a speed difference between the two crawlers, the differential steering movement will be realized.
