It is reported that the Xiangjiang River Channel Yugong Port project investment of about 5.16 billion yuan, the initial use of shoreline 1620 meters, a total of 12 berths and supporting construction of logistics park; About 3.22 billion yuan will be invested in the distribution and transportation system, and special railway lines and highways will be built. The project will be carried out in three phases. By the end of 2027, 12 berths will be fully completed and the port capacity will reach 28 million tons, forming a large-scale, modern and comprehensive multimodal transport hub port, providing a new platform and a new engine for Hunan to deeply integrate into the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the construction of “The Belt and Road”, as well as creating a plateau of reform and opening up in inland areas.
