As an important device of inductor heat treatment, the design and manufacturing quality of inductor directly affect the quenching quality. The front idler assy adopts the scanning heating quenching method. Two inductors are used for heating, one is for preheating, the other is for heating and cooling, and the front idler assy rotates at a certain speed. Sensors heat both upper and lower working faces.

The inductor is a copy inductor, on which a magnetic permeator is installed. The function of the permeator is to reduce the escape of magnetic field lines and improve the efficiency of the inductor. Improve the magnetic field distribution in the heating area of complex shaped workpiece to obtain even temperature distribution. The following points should be paid attention to during the design and production of inductor:

(1) The accuracy of the upper and lower two heating surfaces of the inductor should be controlled, which is the key to ensure the clearance between the upper and lower two working surfaces in the process of induction heating.
(2) The inductor is welded and calibrated and inspected with special birthgear to ensure that the size is within the required range.
(3) The inductor must be subjected to pressure test without water seepage. The water pressure should be above 0.3MPa for leakage test. Because for planar quenching induction heating, the general efficiency is low, the inductor heat is large, must have a good cooling to take away the heat, to ensure the life of the inductor.
(4) The magnetic body is tightly pasted, and the quantity of the two sides of the magnetic body is roughly the same, so as to ensure the same heating effect of the two working faces.
