The project will be carried out in three phases. By the end of 2027, 12 berths will be fully completed and the port capacity will reach 28 million tons, forming a large-scale, modern and comprehensive multimodal transport hub port, providing a new platform and a new engine for Hunan to deeply integrate into the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the construction of “The Belt and Road”, as well as creating a plateau of reform and opening up in inland areas.
